I discovered this place when I had to return an Amazon item, and the store intrigued me. I returned to shop there, and found it interesting and a unique challenge not having to check out.
Do realize that you will do your own bagging. I actually had my bags in my cart and bagged as I went along.
Although it generally was a pleasant experience, I found a few things that I would fault them for. I'm not sure if it is the color scheme or what, however I found the store to be a bit dark, and isles a bit narrow.
However the biggest problem is that the store was poorly stocked with often wide spaces on shelves with no items. This may be temporary because of the pandemic, but I don't find that to be the case in more traditional grocery stores.
Also because of the self-check feature, I found that some items were a bit strange, for instance cookies that weighed exactly the same (that's how the know how many you take as the shelf is a scale). Also I don't believe anything, at least in produce is sold by weight which is a bit strange as well.
I will probably shop there on occasion, but I don't consider it a replacement of my traditional grocery store.
Finally, I didn't get my E-mail itemized receipt for about three hours,which seems a bit long. Perhaps this will get better. It was accurate, however.
The employees were great however. They were friendly and knowledgeable, which is not often the case since I am a senior citizen.

Restaurant quality deli food. Thin crust pizza, good ingredients, not greasy for pizza. If the pizza looks good, it probably is. Chicken pesto, Supreme, and vegetarian are better than ordinary. Robotic espresso maker takes a few minutes to brew, getting it started before ordering or grabbing something helps. Good coffee, but sours while cooling so the small is the better buy. Chicken in salad bar was very good. The chili and clam chowder from the soup bar were especially good. Very quick. In and out in a few minutes every time using the in store code in the Amazon shopping app. Very convenient grocery shopping during lunch.

Absolutely love the ability to bag while I shop and then just walk out without a checkout! My main complaint is that many of the items aren't that cheap and the selection is so-so. Would love to see more Whole Foods items and more unique stuff available. Lots of workers to ask for help and everyone is extremely friendly.

Very clean and classy. I didn't think any grocery store could out do Whole Foods in appearance and cleanliness, But Amazon Fresh has done so in appearance.
The prices are affordable and cheaper than most of the mainstream grocery stores. The $20 off $40 coupon is an added value.
Amazon Fresh is my new go to.

I have now been to the Amazon store 4x since they opened. I am thrilled it is so close to my house and has ample parking. I've been really impressed with the produce, it's fresh and tastes better than other stores IMO. The aisles are fairly narrow so it can get tight. I did not realize that some of the prices the opening day were sale prices so when I returned for more of the same items I was surprised to see they had doubled. I felt a bit cat fished by that. The employees are eager to help and friendly. Certain pantry items are very reasonable (vinegar, water and office supplies that I noticed) while some seem way too high (cereal, candy and some frozen items). My husband had a hot sandwich from the deli ($6) that he did not think was very good. They have a small selection of books and small appliances. Really pretty bouquets for $5 & $10. Overall, I love how easy it is to get in and out and I will be shopping there at least 1x/week.
