Roush is currently looking for a Senior NVH Test Engineer. The Senior NVH Test Engineer will support noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) testing on vehicles and consumer products. The role will ensure that testing is carried out according to procedures. The Senior NVH Test Engineer will consolidate test results and prepare reports for internal and external customers.

As a Senior NVH Test Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing and setting up test equipment.
• Conducts tests, document test set-up and process test results.
• Verify testing accuracy, thoroughness, and determine if additional testing is needed.
• Identifying NVH or testing issues and help to develop countermeasures.
• Clearly communicate test results.
• Perform minor automotive mechanic work as required for testing.
• Complete part changes as required for testing.
• Complete additional tasks as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent experience in NVH testing or similar field.
• Minimum of 5 years of related NVH experience.
• Good driving record.
• General knowledge of NVH and acoustics and ability to use NVH testing & analysis software.
• Skilled at processing data and general knowledge of the underlying math.
• Ability to develop and construct custom test stands and use typical fabrication shop tools
• Proficient skills with Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to multi-task and be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills including strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent experience in NVH testing or a similar field.
• Knowledge of NVH testing & analysis software: Siemens Simcenter Test.Lab, National Instruments Labview.
• Knowledge of numerical programming software such as Matlab, Python, or GNU Octave.
• Ability to diagnose and solve NVH problems using experimental and analytical resources.
• Ability to operate powertrain or chassis dynamometers.
