Computer Network Support Specialist, Senior

Data Intelligence is looking for Information System Security Office in the China Lake, CA or Point Mugu, CA. 



Job Description:

• Configure, deploy and maintain email and network security appliance


• Identify, troubleshoot, and mitigate vulnerability findings found by security appliance


• Collaborate with enterprise partners and incident response teams regarding requirements, design and deployment of security appliances


• Create and maintain SOP documentation for security appliances


• Manage vendor relationships regarding support and vendor updates


• Implementation/assist with the implementation of network defense requirements as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or other technical filed and degree of applicability and 4 years' experience or 8 years' (without a degree) experience in analyzing, trouble shooting, and evaluation computer network problems


• Knowledge and hands-on experience with network security applications, protocols, and associated hardware/software


• Knowledge and hands-on experience in systems engineering to include network, storage, backup, platforms, middleware, application, monitoring and security


• Ability to construct network visualizations diagrams in Visio and PowerPoint


• IAT II or III level certification


• 3 years of hands-on experience  in network security with an emphasis in engineering design, configuration, implementation, operations, and maintenance of a variety of security technologies 


• Understanding of Network Protocols


• Excellent problem solving skills


• Capable of performing independently or as part of a team in a fast paced environment


• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal


• At least Secret Level Security Clearance with TS eligibility (U.S citizenship required)
