Basic Purpose
We are seeking a Business Development Executive! This position is responsible for increasing sales revenue, and will serve as a business partner by developing and maintaining relationships with customers and potential customers, identifying process improvements, and ensuring exceptional customer service on an ongoing basis.
Duties and Responsibilities
Enthusiastically identify business growth opportunities within new industries. Business Development territory includes Gulf Coast states from Texas to Florida.
Maintain thorough understanding and knowledge of client’s business, industry, trends, and current events
Develop strong relationships with clients by understanding their business and staffing needs, and delivering exceptional customer service
Proactively communicate and demonstrate the value of CLS to the client
Negotiate with clients and successfully prepare and MSAs successfully to secure business
Actively participate in recruitment and bid/quote production with staff
Understand and communicate market trends to team
Monitor customer satisfaction levels and develop plans to ensure customer expectations are met
Build relationships with partners across client organizations
Build a strong, clear brand for CLS as a leader in the eyes of our clients across the industry
Monitor competition within assigned region
Prepare and submit reports to the Sales Manager
Assess and adjust sales activity and performance according to KPIs
Accept ownership of CLS core values and quality policies and procedures
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
Three (3) to five (5) years of outside sales within staffing, client, or account management
A strong work ethic with a proven ability to develop strong working relationships across all levels
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, negotiation, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
Attention to detail, ability to multi-task, use sound judgement, and prioritize
Must have proficient computer skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to develop reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals
Ability and willingness to travel as required. Business Development territory includes Gulf Coast states from Texas to Florida.

Skilled at establishing and working collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment with multiple projects and competing deadlines
