  • Genesis Digital Assets is one of the largest Bitcoin mining companies with around 250 MW of mining data centers around the world. We have been around since 2013 and are rapidly expanding.

Description:

  • We are looking for a Project Manager, Electrical Infrastructure to join the Infrastructure Team for Genesis Digital Assets. Things are moving and changing quickly at GDA, and we need someone who can marry chaos and structure with ease.
  • In this role, you must be able to support design validation, project management, and commissioning of new high power operations and their associated energy infrastructure. The right candidate is obsessively organized, thrives in the details, and hits deadlines.
  • No task is too small or too big for you to tackle and see to completion.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop and/or validate one-line diagrams to ensure design for constructability and support of data center power demands
  • Develop specifications, scope of work, conceptual layouts, equipment selection, etc. to support design and construction efforts
  • Provide construction, commissioning, and startup oversight and management
  • Direct construction teams and junior project managers/project engineers as applicable to ensure timely execution of project deliverables

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • PE license and/or PMP certification desirable, but not required
  • 5+ years experience in design and/or validation of high voltage power systems (ie step-up/step-down transformers, switchgear, substation)
  • Experience as a project manager directing execution of related electric utility projects is highly desirable (EPC contracting methodology a plus)
  • Desire to wear many hats and to assume a leadership role when required
  • Ability to travel regularly to support build-outs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
