Financial Analyst - REMOTE

Job Description:

The BI/Data Analyst supports all levels of the organization, with a focused effort on maintaining key data analytics platforms (SQL/Power BI) and direct responsibility of translating business needs into technical specifications. The position will work with key data metrics of the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team, analyzing trends and providing information to key stakeholders to make actionable and data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop reporting and analytical tools to identify trends and produce metrics that help support the company's initiatives
• Perform continuous improvement of data collection, analytical processes and procedures including documentation of systems and visual analytics
• Complete ad hoc analyses on a regular basis and assist in special projects to support data and reporting for the operational leadership teams
• Present in a clear and concise manner, allowing the audience to fully understand insights and recommendations based upon underlying data
• Educate and engage the operational leadership teams via report generation and data analysis
• Evaluate and improve SQL queries to support existing Business Intelligence (BI) systems
• Create visualizations and reports for projects with dynamic ability to have data refreshed easily for future reference
• Develop tools to store data and conduct unit testing and troubleshooting as needed
• Inspect current processes, workflows and setups within BI environment and recommend process improvements for optimization

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, BIS or Mathematics, Finance, Healthcare/Operations Management, or relevant field
• 3-5 years of related technical/financial/business analytical or similar industry experience preferred
• Healthcare or Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) experience preferred, but not required
• Strong understanding of developing and managing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) framework
• Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling) and data mining preferred
• Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills to develop systems and reports
• Familiarity with visual analytics technologies (e.g. Microsoft Power BI, Tableau) required
• In-depth knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and database management

Salary:

• $90-$100k
