Civil Rights/Employment Litigation Associate Attorney

Orlando office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a civil rights/employment litigation associate attorney with 5-10 years of experience, in civil rights and/or employment and labor litigation. The candidate will serve in the representation of management and employers in EEOC/FCHR proceedings, as well as litigation related to Title VII, ADA, ADEA, Section 1983, whistleblower, wrongful discharge, and retaliation. Will be responsible for handling all aspects of civil litigation, under the supervision of a partner, including preparation of pleadings, motions, and other filings; participate in discovery, including attendance at depositions; attend hearings and trial; report to and communicate with clients, witnesses, adjusters; legal research and writing; and, the analysis and evaluation of cases.

The candidate should have the ability, both verbally and in writing, to effectively express ideas, present facts and advance legal arguments. Should manage priorities and accomplish tasks in a timely and efficient manner, so as to meet deadlines, while demonstrating the ability to understand, formulate and deliver clear responses to assignments. Must have a desire to excel and develop skills as a litigator, in order to contribute to the firms high standards and reputation for excellence and ethics in the community. Should demonstrate effectiveness and diligence in advising clients and the ability to promote the firms strengths and capabilities to existing or potential clients.
