**The Director of Operations is not limited to the Atlanta area. Candidates can be based anywhere in the United States.
Role and Responsibilities
The Director of Operations is a key position in our organization assisting the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer in oversight over multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring high-quality delivery to our clients of our commitments, and generating more work. With this, this implies that the right candidate’s success is contingent upon their ability to direct, guide, lead and coach the operations staff to success. The person in this position will be directly responsible for:
- Project Financial Results / performance
Maintaining / engineering high level client relationships at many levels, including ‘C level’
Support and provide leadership and guidance to the Operations teams for results
Project Manager development
Associate training and development
Controlling projects’ costs / company financials
Lead analysis process independently to deliver a project
Develop project savings evaluation methodology and install with Project Managers and client financial resources
Manage project staffing within budget
Work with HR in recruitment and employee performance; including hiring and separation when necessary based upon documented needs
Supporting and following company policies
Providing regular project progress updates and status / positives/concerns / solutions / opportunities to CEO and COO directly.- Ability to document formal proposals and letters of engagement for review and approval internally prior to client present
Deliver a minimum of 20% of additional billable work operationally of current billing (Example: if the current project billing = $1.0M, Director should be generating a minimum of $200K of additional work through those clients or referrals from current client base)
Ability to recognize and align client personality with suitable Project Manager(s) and staff for cohesiveness and compatibility

- Must have a ‘do whatever it takes’ attitude – stepping in and performing duties/ requirements of staff associate, analyst, project manager, etc. as needed to ensure project deliverables and commitments are fulfilled.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Minimum BS. Degree in relevant concentration – business /engineering / organizational behavior / human culture & organizational behavior
Business and financial acumen (experience in reading business financial statements/ interpreting strengths and weaknesses / patterns) – purpose is to be able to work through project financial opportunity and value
Minimum 3-5 years (recent) in Operational /Management Consulting leadership role (Project Manager / Director / Chief / etc.)
Preferred Skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications [Word/PPT/Excel/Project] – presentation /proposal writing / financial opportunities per client.
Intermediate / expertise in Access Database, Microsoft Project a plus
Excellent verbal and written communications skills required in English are; Bilingual abilities are a plus
Travel Requirements
This position requires 100% travel, up to weekly.
