The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer located in El Segundo, CA.

Position Responsibilities Include:

  • Employ producibility methodologies in design and build concept development
  • Perform conceptual and functional analysis of new production methodologies
  • Employ advanced modeling and simulation tools to validate proposed build architectures
  • Investigate emerging technologies in support of future factory concepts/designs
  • Support the development, validation and implementation of advanced Virtual Build simulation tools
  • Resolve technical problems of significant impact to performance, cost or schedule

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • CATIA V5/UGS NX/DELMIA
  • MATLAB
  • MESci
  • Knowledgeable in a variety of programming languages

Typical Education/Experience (EXCLUDE FOR MANAGER ROLES):

Bachelor's degree and typically 9 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 7 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with typically 4 or more years' experience in an engineering classification. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
