System1 is growing and so is our People team. To support that growth, we’re looking for a Learning & Development Manager to support our business and ensure our amazing culture can scale as we grow and evolve. Our vision for this role is someone who can build the learning and development programs that will ensure the ongoing success of all System1 employees. You’ll be responsible for creating and managing our new hire onboarding, leadership development programs, basic management training, and any programs required to fill skill gaps and help ensure our talent is growing in ways that drive not only current but also future System1 success.

Where We Are
System1 is based in Los Angeles, where our Lead Gen team sits at our Marina del Rey headquarters. We have additional offices in Seattle, and our Canadian headquarters in Guelph, Ontario.
This role has the ability to work remotely in Washington, Oregon, California, Colorado, Minnesota, Hawaii, Texas, Georgia, North Carolina, Virginia, and Pennsylvania.
What You Can Expect on the Team:
Creating and managing our new hire onboarding program in ways that create an amazing new hire experience, build strong connections to teammates, and that set new hires up for long-term success.
You’ll build and manage new manager training, ensuring that managers have the skills needed to lead highly engaged, high-performing teams.
You’ll develop customized programs to drive leadership effectiveness at all organizational levels.
You’ll deliver just-in-time training for new programs and processes at both the leadership and the individual contributor level. Training will inspire buy-in, help people understand the “why” behind programs, and will ensure broad adoption across the organization.
Based on your needs assessment, you’ll partner with external resources as needed or will develop programs that will be delivered in-house.
You’ll create training that supports our competency matrix - helping employees develop the competencies needed to be successful at System1.
You stay on top of trends, developments, and best practices in learning & development and recommend changes as the business environment evolves.
What You Can Bring to the Team:
Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in progressively responsible HR roles, preferably in a technology company with a track record of success doing the work we’ve described. You’ll also have awesome facilitation skills as well as the ability to deliver programs in ways that are exciting, never boring, and that have a positive impact on overall engagement.
Ideally, you’ll have a bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or a related field with a PHR, SPHR, or additional HR. We’re growing fast, have a bright future, and need talented, fun talent to support our amazing people.
