Job Description:

Accenture Federal Services is looking for a proven UI/UX Engineer to join our team. You will work on complex projects with responsibility for developing best-in-class user experiences. We are looking for a flexible problem solver with design and development experience to join a team providing unique solutions for our customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities include:

Provide UX design support to software applications and other designers.

Develop user interfaces with modern languages and frameworks.

Implement best practices by developing frameworks to jumpstart development to improve User Interface/User Experience (UI/UX) consistency.

Conducti user research, interviews, and surveys, and translate them into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, and wireframes.

Interface with product owners and back-end developers to design user experiences that balance user needs with mission/business goals and technological capabilities.

Conduct heuristic evaluations, user testing, user interviews, and other methods of gathering feedback.

Share UX/UI design processes, ideas, and solutions with internal and external teams.

Here's what you need:

1+ year of experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Vue.js, Angular, etc.

1+ year of experience employing current UI/UX best practices and modern design tools.

Must be a US Citizen

Bonus points if you have:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field

Excellent communication skills including the ability to connect and empathize with clients/end users.

Ability to operate alone with little to no supervision or constant guidance to include coordinating between users, customers, and developers to make the ideal interface a reality.

Ability to coordinate multiple product timelines and switching between tasks to manage competing priorities.

Robust portfolio exhibiting a wide breadth of design disciplines and styles.

Experience with working in a fast-paced environment.

Security Clearance:

Active Secret clearance, must be clearable to TS/SCI
