As Senior Front End Engineer you'll be responsible for building and maintaining web applications using React, JavaScript, TypeScript & Sass modules. You'll work with the development team, as well as UX/UI designers and graphic designers, with the ultimate goal of providing unbeatable value to our customers. You'll work closely with our back-end and full-stack developers to deliver consistent and reliable web experience. You'll work with our designers to improve usability for our customers. You'll optimize web design for mobile and other platforms for maximum speed. You'll work with designers to ensure high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency. Ultimately, your work will have a direct impact on the user experience of our customers.
What You Need for this Position- Bachelor's degree in CS, Information Systems or equivalent
- Advanced understanding of React and Typescript and experienced using Sass modules
- Understand how to provide quality code reviews and testing. Preferably using Storybook, Cypress, Jest and/or React Testing Library
- Understand how to use modern tooling such as Docker, GitHub, Express, Storybook, Cypress, Node.js, etc.
- Preferred: Understand internal user interfaces such as l10n and/or i18n
- Preferred: Understand monorepos such as Lerna, Yam, pnpm, and/or Nx
- Preferred: Understand build systems such as Turbo, ESBuild, Rollup, and/or Vite
- Preferred: Understand alternate JavaScript runtime such as Bun and/or Deno
