Job Description

Mommy's Bliss is in search of a Director of Marketing Operations and Analytics. This role will set the vision, strategy, and implementation for overall marketing operations and analytics, continually transforming our ways of working. This role will lead and initiate innovative approaches, find ways to leverage capabilities, systems, and processes to support an evolving marketing ecosystem. We are looking for someone who is a future-focused thinker, an outstanding collaborator, and a data-driven leader. This team player should be energized by working toward results and is responsible for the analytics and insights that will lead the team to drive higher and quicker engagement, community and conversion.


As the leader of Mommy s Bliss marketing operations, you will partner across the organization to build systems that allow our creative, eCommerce, sales, and brand teams to work efficiently and effectively together. You will be an integral part of annual planning, resource and agency management, creative workflow and operations, customer relations, budget planning and management, trade show planning and process improvement initiatives.


As an analytics leader, you will be responsible for analyzing marketing data and making recommendations to optimize the effectiveness of current and future marketing campaigns. This means ensuring we are setting clear KPIs, using the right data to track results, analyzing data to make informed decisions, and bringing a clear perspective on what great analytics and optimization look like.


This role will be highly collaborative working closely with the CMO, Brand, Creative, and eCommerce teams, among others. This position reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and will lead a current team of 2. This full-time position is remote with some travel (~10%), primarily to our office in Point Richmond, CA for in-person meetings. (Most of our team is based in Seattle and Northern California.)

Responsibilities

  • Creative workflow process, timelines and resource optimization
  • Collaborate with Creative team to ensure we re building a high-output creative pipeline, as well as guide and inform creative production to develop and optimize best-in-class assets with breakthrough performance
  • Paid media mix strategy development (annual), analytics, and optimization recommendations (monthly)
  • Consistently analyze and make recommendations to optimize new and existing campaigns that drive awareness and conversion
  • Own, track, and communicate updates to the marketing budget and calendar
  • Own marketing agency and vendor relationships, ensuring that we re getting maximum value from our strategic partnerships
  • Spearhead trade show planning and management
  • Enable project management for key marketing initiatives
  • Oversee consumer relations strategy and provide support to team as needed
  • Provide team leadership, guidance, and growth + development support to direct reports


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 10+ years of relevant marketing, analytics & project management experience
  • Proven track record of change management and implementation across inter-disciplinary functions
  • At least 2-3 years CPG experience (experience working with a brand that has national retailer distribution is preferred)
  • Superior time management, project management, organizational and leadership skills; ability to influence and manage outcomes
  • Ability to structure ambiguous problems, analyze complex processes, synthesize data and drive toward insights and solutions
  • Deep familiarity with digital marketing KPI's such as CPA, CPC, CPM, LTV and ROAS
  • Familiarity with the marketing and packaging creative process and workflow/tracking
  • Experience managing vendor and/or agency relationships
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to inspire teams to do their best work and seek collaboration to drive toward common goals
  • Experience utilizing data and measurement to drive decisions
  • Experience working in a fast-paced company
  • Ability to thrive in a culture of ownership and accountability
  • Experience with budget management
  • Knowledge of data collection systems and technology: Google Analytics, AdWords, Ad Servers, marketing automation tools
  • Familiarity with Retail Advertising platforms, such as Amazon Advertising Console
  • Experience with paid media delivery data and Media Mix Modeling preferred
