About Our Client
My client is a leading full-service advisory firms for commercial, residential, consumer and specialty finance debt. They pride themselves on providing an inclusive and collaborative work environment, operating on an Agile methodology. They're actively seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to provide leadership in developing and maintaining a new Platform of Java based models.
The ideal Senior Software Engineer will have expertise coding in Java as well as experience with AWS. Additional preference will be given to candidates with fluency in any of GoLang, Python, C#.
Job Description
- You will participate in the design, development, and delivery of new platform of Java based products.
- Work closely with the Analytics team, clients and outside vendors
- Assist Director of Software Engineering with setting near, mid and long term goals for engineering and product development as needed
- This is Full-stack development position. Including data modeling/database, middleware, Front End UI, web-services, and deployment.
- Build features or enhancements, starting with engineering design taking it all the way to production with the support and mentorship of a senior engineer.
- Contribute to important team culture and contribute code to efforts across a fast-growing company
- Support, maintain and upgrade code and participate in implementation of a complex system

The Successful Applicant
- At least 5 years of experience
- Fluency with Java
- Additional preference with candidates fluent in any of GoLang, Python, C#
- Experience with Javascript, Typescript, Angular
- Proficiency working within AWS
- A self-motivated individual who works well with little direction
- Enjoys being part of a team that works and learns together
- Has excellent communication skills
