Enterprise Insights & Analytics (EIA) Team is looking for a Technical Program Manager to manage BI & Analytics programs, projects, technical workstreams, development and delivery of strategic insights and technical solutions. This role will closely partner with the cross functional teams, EIA, and ETP (IT organization).
Primary Responsibilities
Lead cross functional team to build systems and processes that facilitate access to high quality and timely BI & Analytics products and customer insights
Work with ETP, EIA and business stakeholders to define project requirements, scope efforts, and manage release schedules
Facilitate discussions to scope upcoming workstreams
Coordinate with business stakeholders and continuously make sure your team is delivering according to the constantly growing needs of the business
Develop communication plans to effectively communicate program status, issues, and risks to the stakeholders
Manage cross functional dependencies, risks, and changes effectively by optimizing scope, schedule, and resources accordingly
Partner with cross functional teams to drive technical analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases
Work with technical team to resolve bottlenecks to help deliver final system deliverables
Review and report progress on initiatives/projects, managing project risks including the development of contingency plans
Own the final system deliverables and the overall roadmap for your area of responsibility
Lead project documentation reviews with executive-level business and tech leadership
Additional Primary Responsibilities
Understand, communicate, and reinforce standard business process concepts and methodology with the goal of report, and data source standardization
Implement processes and policies to ensure high quality of results, high transparency with end users and stakeholders and timely delivery of projects
Monitor the progress of programs and projects by tracking activity, resolving issues, recommending actions, providing regular updates on deliverable timelines and project status to senior management and project team
Negotiate agreements and commitments by facilitating communication between the business unit(s), EIA teams, and ETP from initial requirements through final implementation
Lead, manage, and coach high performing teams as opportunity arises in future
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including ETP, EIA, regional teams, and training teams
Establish and maintain relationships with key business unit personnel
Minimum Qualifications
Master's or bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics), related technical field
7+ years of experience in technical program management
3+ years of experience in managing BI and analytics programs/projects
3 + years of experience in managing cross functional customer-facing projects and balancing product/business requirements with technical constraints
Previous experience in BI & Analytics (either as an engineer or as a manager) enabling you to take part in technical discussions and speak the same "language" as our engineering teams
Passionate about leadership, and continuous improvement in processes
Agile experience is a must (SAFe preferred)
Ability to take abstract complex subjects and communicate with audiences of varying levels of leadership and technical background
Experience communicating (written and verbal) with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels across multiple business units
Strong business, operational, and technical vision
Excellent attention to detail and understanding of impact when changes occur to scope or timeline
Ability to identify and mitigate development and implementation risks
