Job Summary

The Clinical Operations Manager (RN) is responsible for operations of the Hartford Healthcare Cancer Institute at Central Region locations to include personnel management, financial management, and operational management, as well as collaboration on staff and program development. The Clinical Operations manager oversees the daily continuum of care for the medical oncology, specialty services and Infusion services and provides leadership and direction to providers and clinic staff. The manager directs the work in the departments to ensure the overall workflow offers an optimal patient experience and is managed in a safe and efficient manner. The position also has the key responsibility to ensure compliance with appropriate regulatory standards. The manager monitors and supports key business outcomes to include growth, service excellence, and staff performance, patient outcomes and achievements of overall short and long term goals of the departments, the organization, the Cancer Institute and the system as a whole.

Qualifications

Education
BSN required, MS preferred

Experience

Three + years management experience and prior oncology management experience preferred

Licenses and Certifications

Current Connecticut RN License

Basic life support preferred.

Oncology specialty certification preferred
