In the role of Manufacturing Engineer I, you define and enhance the processes required to ensure production of cost effective and quality products.

You'll have the opportunity to serve as primary interface with external customers, analyze changes in customer specs in order to flow them down to manufacturing and interface with product engineering, manufacturing leadership, and support teams to meet business unit goals. This position contributes to our vision by:

Supporting standardization initiatives across business units;

Coordinating with engineering team to implement company engineering strategies;

Defining material sorting and grouping to match the process sequence and aid manufacturing;

Resolving problems related to the manufacturing process;

Identifying customer contract quality requirements and ensuring implementation on all programs through quality plans and inspection and inspection and test plans

Job Requirements


Safran Electrical & Power looks for service-oriented team players with strong interpersonal skills, the right attitude and adaptability to an innovative and evolving environment.


Requires Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.

Ability to design layouts and fixtures to aid manufacturing (AutoCAD)

Requires proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Ability to build strategic working relationships at all levels of the organization
