We are currently seeking full-time, passionate Remote Independent Travel Agent to help us guide customers to achieve their travel goals. An ideal candidate will be extremely well-versed in all different aspects of travel and will already be an expert in planning vacations. A successful candidate will understand the needs of our customers and work closely with them to create personalized itineraries.
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
Offer advice to clients on destinations.
Follow up with clients about travel plans and make adjustments as needed, including coordinating with the client's point of contact as the event approaches.
Research fare and schedule information.
Describe trips to clients and give details on any documents required, such as passports or visas.
Make alternative arrangements if changes arise before or during the trip.
Provide any and all relevant information, brochures and publications (guides, local customs, maps, regulations, events) to travelers.
QUALIFICATIONS
Overall travel industry knowledge and experience.
Competent with all aspects of reservation transactions.
Attention to detail/conscientiousness/flexible.
Problem solving and initiative.
Interpersonal communication and relationship building skills.
Willingness to learn new functions and to enhance existing skills.
Patience and flexibility.
Handle multiple accounts.
