Position: Senior Environmental Remediation Engineer
Location: Meridian, Idaho
Pay: Dependent Upon Experience of Successful Candidate
Status: Full-time
Description: The Westmark Group, an environmental engineering and consulting firm, is seeking a full-time Senior Environmental Remediation Engineer. The ideal candidate will be selected for a position to support contracts performed for key customers located in the western United States.

The ideal candidate would possess a minimum of ten years of experience working on soil and groundwater assessment and remediation projects including field work, project management, regulatory liaison, fund reimbursement programs, field staff management, and tracking budgets.
A bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering or geology is highly recommended, although a degree in environmental science or related discipline will be considered with the ability to demonstrate significant experience in the focus area. The ideal candidate would possess, or have the ability to obtain, certification as a Nevada Certified Environmental Manager (CEM), as well as possessing a California Profession Engineer (PE) and/or Profession Geologist (PG) license.
The position entails the complete management of environmental assessment and remediation projects. The projects include restoration of sites having soil and/or groundwater contamination. The candidate must be able to demonstrate the ability to understand and manage projects from their inception (discovery) through regulatory closure. The candidate must be able to demonstrate the ability to work closely with regulators and the client to maintain seamless cooperation between all stakeholders.
The candidate also needs to have strong leadership, organizational skills, and be a self-starter. A well-rounded individual who is actively focused on professional development is preferred.

This position is based out of our office in either Meridian, Idaho or Las Vegas, Nevada. Travel will be required to perform on-site work in Arizona, Nevada and California.
Candidates must be well versed in using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, etc.)

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
