As a Designer Trainer you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

• Leads the writing and updating of documentation within the plant
• Leads and assists in new employee training and cross-training existing employees on new assets
• Tests trainees to measure progress and to evaluate effectiveness of training.
• Creates, maintains, and improves training records and training matrices to ensure employees are getting cross-trained and the department has qualified operators where needed
• Leads aspects of New Employee Orientation regarding the department.

Your Skills And Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

• Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
• Working overtime, work- Holidays and rotating shifts as needed.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability and operate most if not all of the department equipment.
• Problem solving ability to diagnose problems and suggest process improvement or changes.
• Ability to write procedures and communicate those written procedures to the staff.
• Computer literate with email, word processing spreadsheets and visuals.

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
