Senior Process Engineer

Job Purpose

Intercontinental Exchange, a global leader in financial data and technology, is seeking an experienced IT Process Engineer in our Atlanta office. This person will work directly with the global technology management team to analyze, improve, implement and manage IT processes and tools to improve quality and create value. The ideal Senior Process Engineer candidate will be a self-starter with deep analytical and organization skills and a proven track record of delivering on process improvements with demonstrated quality and/or value increases. You will have hands-on responsibility for owning and/or improving a wide variety of technology processes by identifying and finding efficiencies for large scale IT infrastructure solutions. Develop, maintain, and analyze technology KPIs. Experience with Tableau or PowerBI and process improvement certifications (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) are strong pluses. Excellent communication skills are required as you will be in a highly visible role working with the global technology management team and interfacing with executives to present metrics and process improvements.




Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop, optimize, and sustain technology processes.
  
• Evaluate and document existing processes while defining key metrics.
  
• Identify and execute process improvements that will reduce process errors, improve process results, increase quality, and/or create value.
  
• Socialize and lead implementation of improvements.
  
• Take ownership of some processes.
  
• Create process performance visualizations by way of self-service dashboards, periodic reporting and tracking mechanisms for key metrics .
  
• Leverage data analytics, information from stakeholders and performance visualizations for ongoing analysis and driving continuous improvements.
  
• Leverage automation tools to automate manual processes.
  
• Leverage existing industry tools and tools and best practices for process improvements.
  
  

Knowledge and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree (Computer Science or Engineering preferred)
  
• 5+ years of professional experience as a Process Engineer, ideally in a technology organization.
  
• Must have strong analytical skills and be a very fast learner.
  
• Previous professional experience working in a highly regulated industry is desired (banking, aerospace, automotive, etc.)
  
• Excellent communication and documentation skills are required
  
• Ability to self-start effectively with ambiguity and varying levels of detail.
  
• Financial technology industry experience is a plus.
  
• Sr. Level Lean six sigma (blackbelt and above) certification or other similar industry certifications desired.
  
• Ability to work on-site in Atlanta office at least 3 days per week.
  

Schedule

This role offers work from home flexibility of up to 2 days per week.
