Position Summary
The Renewal Specialist (RS) is responsible for initiative-taking outreach to our customer base to advise them of their upcoming contract renewal/expiration dates and encourage them to renew and consider any upgrades in their coverage that may be needed to fill gaps in their current service offering. This individual will be expected to develop a strong understanding of the numerous services we offer and can reinforce the value they provide our customers. The ideal RS is enthusiastic about a career in sales or account management, enjoys influencing others, is a strong communicator, has vigilant attention to detail, consistently applies initiative and common sense to solve problems, brings keen organizational skills to every aspect of their professional life, and they do all this while maintaining a positive attitude.
Job Responsibilities
- Via outbound calls and email communication, connect with our customers regarding their upcoming contract expirations
- Reinforce benefits of current service offering while also educating on gaps in customer s coverage to provide additional coverage
- Collaborate across departments with the contracts, support, and sales teams to ensure customers service coverage is designed to fit customer s needs
Relationships and Roles
Establish and maintain excellent relationships with all Barcodes departments.
Integral role in customer satisfaction related to their service contract status. Customers will appreciate the proactive approach to keep them apprised of contract status
Participate in other duties and special projects that relate to contract renewals

Education
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Associate s / Bachelor s degree preferred
A minimum of 1-year experience in customer service or sales environment
