Summary: A Field Engineer/Qualified Technician reports directly to their Team Leader and to the team s Project Engineers and is directly responsible for the execution of field and office assignments as directed.

Discipline Specific Staffing Requirements:


Field Engineer/Qualified Technician must have knowledge of the following topics:


  • Electrical
  • HVAC
  • Plumbing
  • Mech Fire Protection
  • I&C
  • IT
  • LSS
  • Security
  • Architectural


There will be teams built per discipline to execute the scope and deliver all equipment by following the specifications and deliverables per the contract. This position is for Engineers and Technician.


Field Engineer/Qualified Technician holds the following responsibilities:


  • Site Inspections and reports.
  • Equipment Testing.
  • Cx Software review and documentation on the software.
  • Document and Specification reviews and updates.
  • Create and execute commissioning checklists for the respective equipment and systems as directed by the team leader.
  • Collection and tabulation of field data using testing equipment.
  • Documenting and tracking all issues found during testing.
  • Preparation and writing of reports.
  • Assist in executing performance test requirements.
  • Time management and schedule tracking.
  • Understand schedule logic and escalate issues with incorrectly scheduled equipment.
  • Any special projects as required.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent
    • Or
  • Trade experience for up to 7 years for the specific disciplines listed above.
  • Must be a self-starter and capable of working independently or in a team environment.
  • Must possess a strong desire to learn and participate in the company developmental training program
  • Trade Professional affiliation a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.) Technical writing skills a plus
  • Strong ability to work in changing environment and adapt to varying working environments.
  • Must be physically fit and capable of lifting at least 30 pounds and climbing ladders.
