Business Development Internship
Genoverde is a genetic engineering company focused on the improvement of non-food commodity crops for commercial application. The company’s primary focus is on developing novel hemp fiber varieties for use in paper and textile markets. In addition, Genoverde works with industry partners, including producers (farmers) and manufacturers to tailor variety development for special end products.
The selected intern will work directly with senior leadership to implement new business strategies for the use of Genoverde’s improved varietals in the advanced energy (electric batteries) markets. This will include taking part in business development meetings to help inform future research strategies. The intern will also work with senior research personnel to execute said strategies in the lab.
