About Stripe
Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies - from the world's largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups - use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.
About the team
To further this important mission, we are looking for insightful and analytical team leaders to be financial and strategic partners to the Chief HR Officer and the People & Recruiting leadership team. Be part of an elite team driving strategy, planning, and analysis at Stripe
What you'll do
Responsibilities
* Build and own Stripe's corporate model for headcount and related expenses (cash comp+benefits+equity)
* Lead strategic planning for the People & Recruiting organization (e.g., Business Reviews, Forecasts, Annual Budget, and Long Range Plans)
* Evaluate organizational tradeoffs in team resource planning and serve as a key decision-maker for investment strategies
* Manage the month-end close and BvA process for the People & Recruiting organization, partnering closely with colleagues in Corporate F&S and Controllership
* Leverage your financial background to support and influence key strategic and business decisions
* Develop and monitor critical success metrics, and communicate actionable insights to relevant stakeholders
Who you are
We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

* 7+ years of relevant experience in corporate FP&A or FP&A for Core G&A functions
* Experience driving and executing on finance processes (e.g. budget, forecast reviews, negotiations)
* Demonstrated ability to use sound business judgment when collaborating with a wide-range of stakeholders
* The ability to bring structure to ambiguous areas of opportunity and thrive in an unstructured, fast-moving environment
* A keen analytical eye and extensive experience building integrated models from scratch (in Excel or other planning applications)
* The ability to maintain high-performance under tight timelines with a "roll up your sleeves" mindset
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred qualifications
* Experience working at a high-growth technology or financial services company
* Oracle, Anaplan, or other equivalent application experience
