Job Description


Are you ready to be part of the best team on the planet? The Defense Industrial Base Team drives the direct and indirect billing revenue for the US Federal Team and is responsible for the US Defense Prime Contractors, Federal System Integrators FSI and Local Original Equipment Manufacturers LOEMs. You will work on Intel newest technical challenges, implementations, and design wins across Federal and Department of Defense landscape. Provides technical expertise to close new design win opportunities and provides co-engineering to drive product to production that result in billed revenue (sales in and/or sales through). Exhibits deep knowledge of product portfolio to drive sales for established businesses such as CCG, DCAI, NEX and plant the seeds for emerging businesses such as IFS, SaaS. Cultivates the relationship between Intel and customer teams to identify and develop new opportunities within assigned accounts. Influences and enables OEMs, distributors and ecosystem partners to drive sales through revenue. Develops product demonstrations for customers to gauge product capabilities, assists in product design and review during onsite visits and ensures customer requirements are being met. Establishes relationship with customer teams to facilitate rapid resolution of customer issues and promote the highest levels of customer satisfaction. Analyzes data to answer questions, reproduce errors, and resolve or escalate customer issues. Provides timely feedback to the manufacturing and product team on product issues and future requirements, ensures that Intel is adept to responding and/or anticipating changes needed for business continuity.

As a successful candidate you must:

-Have outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence customers at multiple levels with a desire and ability to collaborate with diverse, remote teams and resources.

-Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects i.e., requirements management, project planning, statement of work creation, risk management, engineering program updates across geographies, time zones, companies, and organizations.

-Foundational knowledge of Intel's OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) Server/Client/Embedded products, ecosystems and strategies, with an emphasis on the Federal and DoD segments.

-Understanding of edge compute, workload consolidation, and AI/edge-inference fundamentals. Understanding of system design and development activities for Intel Xeon, Core and processor-based platforms

-Communicate the value proposition for future CPU and platform families, within the context of Intel's effort in the Federal and DoD markets.

-Drive customer requirements back into Intel roadmap and product planning processes

-Host collaborative discussions between Intel design teams and our customer to drive closure of design wins for Intel and its partners.

-Collect and analyze competitive data and use it to drive winning sales strategies

Note: This is a commissioned sales position.**


Qualifications


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This Position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship

Minimum Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree Computer Engineer, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineer or equivalent technical knowledge.

-5+ years of experience in Engineering or applications support for server, desktop and embedded CPUs, boards and/or systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

-Masters in Engineering or Business Administration

-Previous customer-facing role highly recommended.

-Experience in the Federal and Defense Market with a deep understanding of ITAR, design cycles, and large-scale program capture processes.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado, New York, Washington, California: $174,850.00-$279,790.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience


Working Model


This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
