JOB DESCRIPTION:
Zimmer Rohde is a leading luxury textile & wallcovering brand seeking an extremely motivated and experienced sales professional to join our New York Sales team. This sales position is responsible for: promoting our five brands of luxury, high-end fabrics & wallcovering to Contract and Hospitality designers, achieving overall sales goals through exceptional customer service and generating sales of all brands and product categories.
The position entails building and maintaining relationships by working closely with commercial design professionals & to specify various products for their Contract projects. The duties include:
- Determine and sell appropriate products to assigned accounts and reinforce brand positioning in the marketplace
- Analyze the accounts to identify growth opportunity and market the products actively in order to maximize Contract sales potential
- Build and maintain relationships with designer professionals & specifiers, keeping ZR and its product and service offerings top of mind with your contacts, proactively offering them thoughtful recommendations based on the particular needs of their practice and projects.
- Develop new Contract business opportunities through trade affiliations, industry events and trade publications
- Assist designers with the selection of product and the customization process, providing quotes, processing orders, and follow up on all stages of the selling cycle
- Notify current and potential accounts of new collections by utilizing a full range of marketing materials and targeted efforts
JOB REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a 4-year college degree, and at least five years of experience in outside showroom sales of luxury goods, preferably in Contract textiles & wallcovering, with exceptional customer service and client development skills. Existing relationships with key commercial accounts in NYC preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong presentation skills are required.

SALARY: Competitive salary/commissions/benefits

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
