Job Description
Lead voice and dialog UX design for a healthcare digital assistant - enabling rich multi-modal conversational experiences that allow for seamless transition across voice, text, and touch interfaces. Responsible for conceptualizing, designing and prototyping new interaction paradigms for AI/ML powered digital assistants.

As a Principal Voice UX Designer, you will collaborate with software engineers to deliver innovative, exciting and impacting conversational multi modal experiences by way of Assistants through mobile applications and other channels. You will own and lead voice and dialog UX, working with our product team and customers to ground the strategy and vision in best practices and the evolving state of the art of our technology stack. You will partner closely with our engineering, research, field & marketing to build a product that customers need and love.

Your Responsibilities
As part of the Oracle Digital Assistant Platform team, you will be responsible for developing innovative digital assistant experiences for our customers. Responsibilities include the following:
- Voice and dialog user experience design and development for a variety of platforms, including embedded within mobile applications
- Work with product managers, application UX, front end developers and backend AI/ML platform for design and implementation of full product lifecycle
- Independently design and prototype new experiences using platform tools and capabilities with some scripting and coding
- Collaborate with PM team to drive roadmap of net new platform capabilities to support assistant experience
- Operate in a startup-like environment constantly iterating through ideation, prototyping and productization phases
Your Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience in user experience design
- 2+ years of experience with conversational design and implementation, preferably within voice-based applications
- Good understanding of best practices for voice applications and tradeoffs with multimodal display and interaction patterns
- Ability to script and build simple prototype-scale experiences using platform tools and writing code in a language such as Javascript
Preferred Qualifications :
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
- Experience working on Android/iOS Apps (ideally available in the App Store)
- Strong customer focus, experience working with enterprise customers and developers
- Background and experience in healthcare applications (consumer or provider-facing)
- Proven track record of successfully delivering enterprise-level systems
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated location(s)
New York City Pay Range: from $101,400 to $204,200 per annum; eligible for bonus and equity.
Colorado Pay Range: from $101,400 to $193,400 per annum; eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
