Network Engineer - Senior

Spathe is currently searching for a Network Engineer - Senior to join our team in the Columbia, MD area.

Spathe Systems is a rapidly growing SOF led, 8(a) defense contractor headquartered in Tampa, FL with offices in Fayetteville, NC and strategic partner locations in Virginia Beach and Coronado. Responsibilities

Responsible for creating and supporting IT networks. Duties include using the develop of networks, coordinating with leadership to identify network needs and providing assistance to customers and other individuals on how to use the network effectively.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience administering/designing LANs and WANs


• CCNA certification desired


• DoD 8570 certification Required (Security + minimum)


• Excellent communication skills w/ ability to effectively interact with high level government staff and industry


• Core Routing and Switching: EIGRP, GRE tunnels, InterVLAN routing, redistribution, ACLs, Multicast, QoS, NBAR, NAT, VPN, Layer 2/3 switching, HSRP, Spanning tree


• Supplement Routing and Switching: TACACS, VoIP (Cisco Call Manager), RoIP (Wave), LAN/WAN optimization (Riverbed), monitoring solutions (SolarWinds/NetMRI), encryption devices (KG175, KG250, etc)


• Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance Experience


• Experience with Cisco Nexus products preferred


• Understanding of the Cisco UCS integrated infrastructure and Flexpod Data Center solutions


• Public Key Infrastructure experience preferred


• Must be able to evaluate network performance and interact with users to solve complex problem
