See www.metassolutions.com for further details about us and careers with Metas.Job Description:Metas Solutions has an immediate opening for an eloquent, persuasive, experienced Proposal Writer/Proposal Manager located in Atlanta, GA or Remote to join our team in creating proposals. The Proposal Writer's responsibilities include gathering information, formatting the information according to the company's policies, obtaining approvals, and sending the proposal to the appropriate source.To be successful as a Proposal Writer, you should be articulate, have excellent written communication skills, and be able to work under pressure to meet demanding deadlines. Ultimately, a top-notch Proposal Writer should be consistent, detail-oriented, and able to write in a factual, convincing manner.Responsibilities:Researching, writing, and organizing information in a professional and credible manner.Conducting interviews.Creating strategies for convincing others to take appropriate action.Attending meetings and identifying opportunities for proposal writing.Prioritizing responsibilities to meet deadlines.Editing and revising proposals according to feedback.Maintaining consistency in proposal writing by following company policies.Working with the design team to create graphics and visuals for projects.Additional Proposal Manager duties may be required:Familiarize him or herself with the Company's proposal process and work with the Company Capture Manager to make any necessary tailoring with respect to the size and scope of the opportunity.Ensure proposal compliance with all RFP requirements in all proposal sections.Lead the preparation and delivery of all proposal sections, plans, and specifications.Prepare a master proposal schedule.Plan the proposal and proposal support activities.Issue writer's package to proposal team.Lead development of proposal outline, storyboards (if required), and content working through the Volume Leads.Support proposal reviews.Ensures approval of all corporate commitment statements.Coordinate the approval of any exceptions or deviations.Prepare status reports and briefings for higher-level management.Document all proposal lessons learned.Finalize proposal document.Qualifications:A Bachelor's degree in Business, Journalism, Communications, English, or related field. MBA preferred.Experience writing responses to Federal government RFPs and solicitations, evaluation, compliance, and knowledge of proposal writing methodologies.Previous experience in Proposal Writing may be advantageous.A minimum of five years' experience managing proposal submitted to U.S. Federal agencies.Thorough understanding of the standard government proposal process Track record of federal IT services proposal development and contract winsStrong working knowledge of word processing software.Excellent computer and organizational skills, as well as attention to detail.Excellent interpersonal skills.Ability to meet deadlines.Good strategic planning abilities.Commitment to qualityStrong written, verbal communication and collaboration skillsAbility to lead a small proposal team.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled
