The desired candidate will act as a technical subject matter expert on design, development, implementation & deployment of OIT’s key desktop and server environments (Primarily Windows Based).
The candidate will participate in information systems design, architecture & engineering of server virtualization, storage and desktop environments including disaster recovery. They will design, independently analyze, and resolves complex problems involving various high profile agency initiatives & technical programs (e.g., Virtual Server, Virtual Desktop).
Candidates will have 2-5 years’ experience working with the Citrix Workspace Architecture including design, configuration, virtualized application delivery, and maintaining virtualized environments. Candidate should also have experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and architecting Citrix in AWS.
They will be expected to make recommendations to Leadership on issues involving load balancing, Storage Area Network (SAN), clustering & high availability configurations. They will coordinate activities with other Client IT staff as a consultant and provide technical expertise, integration, and coordination for all facets of Client computer systems.
Minimum Skills:
- 2-5 years of experience with Citrix Workspace Architecture including design, configuration, virtualized application delivery, and maintaining virtualized environments.
