Here is some of what you will be doing:

Complete tenant work orders and Preventive Maintenance of mechanical equipment in a thorough and efficient manner with minimal call backs for a large commercial office building setting, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, light carpentry, working with locks, and will interact professionally and courteously with tenants, contractors, and fellow employees. Additionally, response to the building for emergency after hours calls at night and Sundays is sometimes necessary, as directed by the Assistant or Chief Engineers.

Here is who we are looking for:

Qualified applicant will have a good working knowledge of electrical and HVAC systems, troubleshooting abilities in these disciplines, thorough understanding of the use of a multi-meter and reading schematics; be able to diagnose and replace defective ballasts, LED drivers, switches, etc.; be able to rebuild and service a variety of commercial flush valves and plumbing faucets/fixtures; rebuild, replace, and install lock components and locksets, as well as complete a variety of other miscellaneous maintenance tasks from changing light bulbs to unclogging sinks and toilets.   

Candidate should be highly motivated, able to work with limited supervision.  Job has 3 monthly rotating shifts between 7 am to 6 pm Monday through Friday, and a Tuesday through Saturday shift that is from 8 am to 4:30 pm Tuesday through Friday, and 7 am to 3:30 pm on Saturday.  Job requires some planned overtime work on Saturdays and is shared among all engineers to complete special projects. 

Candidate will be required to get Universal CFC certification within 6 months of employment, which cost will be reimbursed by employer.
