Ruckus Networks is looking to add a Director of Content Development to join our team. This role will allow you to work remotely from anywhere in the US.

 

How You'll Help Us Connect the World.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing digital content specific to Networking, Intelligent Cellular & Security Solutions (NICS) across its segment websites, portals, and social media channels.

Working closely in collaboration with key partners in the product marketing organization, the Web and Marketing Operations teams, and our agency network, you will be developing compelling content and digital experiences that drive customer engagement, brand consistency, and a positive online experience. You are an ideal candidate if you are, analytical, proactive, self-motivated, with customer success, and have an inquisitive mentality.

 

You will make an impact by...

  • Lead the development, launch, and ongoing maintenance of the Ruckus website including design & functionality; translation instances; establishing taxonomy, navigation, and search for site usability and SEO success; interpreting web analytics.
  • Development of a robust social media program including re-establishing Ruckus handles and building an engaged follower base globally on LinkedIn, YouTube, WeChat, etc.
  • Define the strategy for paid search marketing for NICS and management of the ongoing plan.
  • Management of the Ruckus Partner Portal and Support Site. Working with Channel Communications on content, optimizing the user experience based on usage analytics usage. Assess integration into other portals and the main where appropriate.
  • Lead the re-launch of the Security Solutions website and ongoing maintenance of this site with the product management team.
  • Lead as the NICS collaborates with the Web & Marketing Ops teams, defining a dashboard for quarterly reporting, briefing on campaign build requirements, and monitoring lead management.
  • This is a new role for the segment and will require a level of autonomy and leadership in building out how this function evolves based on value delivered to the organization. This will include management responsibility over time.
  • It is expected this individual will have a good understanding of current standard methodologies in digital content marketing and will be able to drive implementation of these in conjunction with assessing efficiencies of existing processes.
  • There will be a strong inter-dependency on other functions with regards to content, platforms, and processes thus teamwork and interpersonal skills twinned with keen commercial foresight will be a necessity.

 

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

  • A completed Bachelor's Degree with 10+ years of related experience.
  • Outstanding web and digital experience including SEO, user experience, a/b testing, social platforms, and analytics.
  • Proven knowledge of lead flow processes and sales and marketing automation tools.
  • Solid knowledge of social platforms with the ability to craft compelling social media marketing plans.
  • Experience with lead generation and automation processes and systems.
  • Strong track record in making sound, data-driven business decisions.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and project management skills with the ability to prioritize.
  • Expert verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate vision and strategy in a way that encourages and motivates with focused intention.
  • Consistent track record of building a network of vendors and negotiating advantageous terms.
  • Budget planning, forecasting, and leadership skills.
  • Portfolio experience with solutions and services.

For candidates located in the states that require compensation listed in the job description, the anticipated salary range is dependent on experience and qualifications: $135,000 - $175,000.
