Application Developer III

Mayday Manufacturing is a leading Aerospace manufacturing company in Denton, Texas that provides a dynamic work environment with cutting edge manufacturing technology. Our company supports the growth and future of the Aerospace industry and is looking to add a 1st shift Application Developer III position to our team to contribute to our advancement.

Salary Range: $81,349 - $98,446

Position Overview:

The Application Developer III is a senior-level programming and should have a solid understanding of programming, SQL, and other technologies. You should be very familiar with and comfortable in designing and developing complex, multi-tiered, integrated applications. You should be experienced in change control, data management, and full-stack application development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• 
  Understands user requirements and how they translate to application features
• 
  Collaborates with members of development team and other IT staff to set application specifications
• 
  Designs prototypes according to specifications
• 
  Writes high quality code to meet specifications, within agreed upon deadlines
• 
  Performs unit and integration testing
• 
  Conducts functional and non-functional testing
• 
  Troubleshoots and debugs applications
• 
  Evaluates existing applications to update, reprogram, remove, or add new functionality
• 
  Mentors and assists other Application Developers
• 
  Develops technical and user documentation to accurately represent application design and code
• 
  Develops and follows programming standards
• 
  Follows IT policies and procedures regarding cybersecurity

Required Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• 
  Advanced C#, five years or more of experience
• 
  Advanced Microsoft SQL Databases, five years or more of experience
• 
  Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Infragistics

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university; or two years or more of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 
  Certified application developer a plus

Physical Demands:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer

  Must be able to access and navigate the production facility on occasional basis

  Must be able to occasionally lift and move up to 20 pounds

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

• Full-time, hours are generally 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday

• Occasional travel may be required to attend meetings, training, or conferences, and may require overnight stays.
