Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Manager (Level K) to join the Collins Aerospace Supply Chain Contract.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements.
  • Manages employees from multiple Supplier Management and Procurement disciplines performing activities related to the acquisition of goods and services in support of company operations, supplier assessment and performance improvement, management and improvement of supply chain management and processes and supplier diversity.
  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
  • Provides assistance to supplier with shortages and recovery plans to support Boeing program needs.
  • Provides oversight regarding negotiation processes and related tools. Manages, develops and motivates employees.


This position has been identified as a virtual opportunity and will not require the selected candidate to relocate.

This position is for 1st shift.

Security Clearance & Export Control Requirements:

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. � 120.15 is required. US Person includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • More than 3 years of experience working on defense contracts.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor s degree or higher.
  • More than 5 years of experience leading projects or teams.
  • More than 5 years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes.
  • More than 3 years of experience with proposal development and contract negotiations.
  • More than 3 years of experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance.
  • More than 3 years of experience interpreting and/or enforcing contract terms and conditions.
  • More than 3 years of experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations).

Relocation:

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 25% of the time.
