Campaign Developer (Remote - California)
We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Campaign Developer. The ideal candidate will be an early-career professional with a passion for digital marketing, marketing automation and a willingness to learn and grow in the role. As a Campaign Developer, you will work closely with our Solution Architects to create and maintain email campaigns that engage our end-clients' customers and promote their brands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and code HTML emails that are mobile-responsive and compatible across all major email clients and browsers.
Work closely with the Solution Architect(s) to develop email campaigns that are targeted, engaging, and aligned with the end-client's overall marketing strategy.
Conduct quality assurance testing to ensure emails render correctly and are error-free.
Monitor email performance and provide recommendations for improving open and click-through rates.
Assist with list segmentation and management, ensuring that emails are targeted to the appropriate audiences.
Stay up-to-date with email design best practices, industry trends, and new technologies to improve our email marketing efforts.
Actively contribute to the corporate knowledge base.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in coding HTML and CSS.
Passion for digital marketing and desire to learn and grow in the role.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) a plus.
Able to work independently without close supervision
Strong communication skills (oral and written) and ability to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully
Strong attention to detail ensuring creativity is precise and error-free
Enjoy working in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment
Belief in continuous learning and improvement
Nice To Haves:
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or other ESP experience (Adobe Campaign, Mailchimp, Sendgrid, etc.)
Experience coding in Javascript
Solid technical foundation in SQL, database, object-oriented programming, etc.
Experience in modern digital marketing including Email, SMS, Mobile Push, SEO.
Proficient in mobile/responsive web/email design and development
