Job Description Job Title: Guidewire ClaimCenter (GWCC) Business Analyst Job Function: Consultant Job Type: Contract (40 hours per week), Initial duration of 6 months with high likelihood of further extension.

Location: Hybrid Work Week in effect with 40% Remote, 60% onsite at one of the client's designated office locations in either Purchase, NY; New York (Midtown), NY; Florham Park, NJ; Conshohocken, PA; or Charlotte, NC.

The RCM client's retail platform, outside of Japan, continues to grow as a part of their on-going transformation begun in 2020 and where we support our client's expansion and other business needs.

Scope of Job: The client is seeking and experienced Business Analyst to augment their current Guidewire ClaimCenter Application Support Team in support of new, ongoing, or other project initiatives.

The Business Analyst will be responsible for creating business and functional requirements definition for claims processing and administration as well as downstream systems and reporting integrations.

Responsibilities will also include planning and facilitating user acceptance testing.

Primary Role Responsibilities: Conduct requirements definition for claims solutions.

Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their business requirements, informational needs and data sources.

Translate business needs into clearly defined and documented detailed business requirements/ functional requirements inclusive of business use cases, process flows, data flows, traceability matrices as well as screen mock-ups.

Provide claims processing subject matter expertise to the IT team throughout the project.

Review development and test deliverables as needed.

Plan, facilitate, and conduct requirements elicitation sessions, meetings, and presentations.

Collaborate with development and testing teams to provide subject matter expertise, ensure that out of the box functionality is leveraged and to assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues.

Lead review sessions for completed business/functional requirements with key business users focused on gaining consensus and final business approval.

Participate in the development of User Acceptance Test planning documentation, including test plans and scripts, based on business and functional requirements.

Facilitate UAT execution phase and work with business stakeholders and project manager to obtain user acceptance test signoff.

Conduct project planning and estimating efforts as needed.

Required Technical Qualifications (in order of level of need) to include the following: 3 years of proven experience in business analysis including defining Insurance business, functional and reporting requirements and conducting user acceptance testing for business-critical solutions in complex environments.

Experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter systems is required.

Detailed claims processing knowledge and experience.

Experience with Guidewire Policy Center is also preferred.

Proven hands-on experience in writing and executing MS SQL query is required.

Insurance/Reinsurance industry experience and knowledge with an understanding of the terminology, business functions (Claims) and business processes.

Experienced with formal SDLCs and business analysis methodologies, working knowledge of business analysis documentation standards.

Agile Methodology experience a plus, but not required.

General Qualifications: Extensive experience in using standard project tools including Microsoft Team Foundation Server (via Visual Studio), Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate to all project members and stakeholders.

Must be a team player who works well with technical and non-technical resources.

Strong initiative, able to self-manage.

Comfortable with ambiguity and able to work through it to get the right things done.

Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time.

Team player who works well with technical and business resources Personal time management skills and ability to meet individual and team deadlines Education & Certifications: B.A / B.S Degree Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP) a plus but not required.
