Location:




The preferred location for this role is remote from Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, or New Jersey, but it can also be located at any of our other US locations with travel required to meet with key partners.




Your Role:




As Business Development Manager Insect Repellents, you drive the implementation of the growth strategy for a top-selling, unique and well-positioned product with high growth potential. You set, align, implement, monitor, and continuously support projects with key customers and new prospects across the global commercial organization in close collaboration with relevant partners such as Product Compliance, Regional Marketing, Application Technology, Sales and Product Management, and ensure coordination in order to successfully complete projects and get new sales. Accountable for the overall revenue development and milestone achievement of the assigned project basket, you aim at balancing the need to deliver value to the company with what is possible in the set regulatory frame.




You overlook the commercialization and regulatory maintenance of repellent market formulations as well as the support of customers' registration including our repellent in close interaction with Sales, Legal and Product Compliance. In this highly collaborative role, you work with Product Compliance and the respective Marketing and Sales teams for defining and implementing the expansion strategy into new customers or new markets. You are accountable for and lead key projects related to business expansion, driving improved brand recognition and market position.




Who you are:




Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree paired with 8+ years of related experience in a B2B2C environment OR
  • Masters' Degree paired with 6+ years of related experience in a B2B2Cenvironment OR
  • Ph.D. paired 5+ with years of related experience in a B2B2Cenvironment
  • Domestic and international travel required up to 40%





Preferred Qualifications:


  • Proven track record of managing business development for technically differentiated products, preferred biocides, and pesticide
  • Related industry experience in a B2B environment
  • Background in Regulatory Affairs, ideally with regards to biocides
  • Background in understanding toxicology, efficacy testing, and registration process of active substances and market formulations
  • Highly team-oriented and customer-focused working style
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work in a highly collaborative global environment
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Project management skills
  • Fluency in English
