The person(s) selected for this role may be eligible for a hiring bonus of $3500.
Starting base pay rate $35.73/hour

As a Maintenance Technician, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Key contributor to maintaining and supporting new equipment and technology within a highly automated plant setting: 3D Printing, injection molding, robotics, vision systems, etc.
Continuously grow and develop skills to maintain a career progression within the Maintenance field as it relates to ongoing technological advancements.
Understands the theory of operation, logic sequence, and performs general mechanical repairs, P.M.'s, or adjustments on all plant and production equipment.
Uses various machine and hand tools such as drill press, vertical and horizontal band saws, pedestal grinders, drill monitors, disc sanders, files, taps, levels, pipe thread machine, arc and gas welders, etc.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:
Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
Posses f a two (2) year technical degree in a Maintenance field, completed and verified prior to start from an accredited institution.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Four (4) years' experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment in a private, public, government, or military environment.
Travel: May include up to domestic/international
Relocation Assistance: May be authorized
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
