Customer Solutions Engineer

Overview BigBear.ai is seeking a Customer Solutions Engineer to join our Healthcare Professional Services team. As a Customer Solutions Engineer, you will implement, utilize, and maintain our forward-looking patient census prediction and forecasting tool, FutureFlowRx, for our clients. FutureFlowRx allows nurse managers and staff planners to know in advance the most likely hospital census and patient placement over both short-term and long-term horizons. This position will be 80% remote work opportunity for candidates in the continental USA with occasional travel to hospital sites. What you will do Effectively manage multiple customer relationships and projects Plan and drive customer implementations Design and implement custom data transformations (ETL) and data ingestion pipelines Perform analysis to troubleshoot data related issues and assist in issue resolution Partner with Product Management and Engineering to identify solutions to customer problems and opportunities for technology innovation What you need to have Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Information Systems, or related technical field 3+ years of experience in IT, customer service, or other related fields Experience deploying applications and supporting services on on-premises or cloud instances (e.g., VMWare, Azure VMs) Experience with Windows system administration, including Active Directory, security, networking, and patching. Proficiency in SQL on at least one RDBMS, e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL Experience with at least one programming language, i.e., C#, Java, etc. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to build strong relationships with customers Ability to engage with both the business and technical teams of a client - to document and explain technical problems or concepts concisely What we'd like you to have 5+ years of experience in IT, customer service, or other related fields Experience in operations and reliability engineering and administration of Windows systems Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems, e.g., EPIC or Cerner Experience with data visualization tools, i.e., Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Qlik About BigBear.ai BigBear.ai delivers AI-powered analytics and cyber engineering solutions to support mission-critical operations and decision-making in complex, real-world environments.
