Job Location: Fully Remote (USA)
Job Salary: $180-240k total compensation (Base, bonus, 9% match 401k, 4.5 weeks PTO, and more)
Requirements:
1.) 6-8 years of enterprise software development experience, with significant server-side Python experience using microservices and serverless architecture
2.) 3+ years of data modeling and database development experience with any one of SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, RedShift, or MongoDB
3.) 3+ years of experience with backend synchronous and asynchronous API development experience for system-to-system integrations
4.) 2+ years of experience with deploying server-side backend applications on Kubernetes clusters in Azure or AWS, or GCP cloud

1.) Technical leadership for a small team and deliver backend NLP Platform applications, scalable document processing pipelines using Python, Kubernetes, NoSQL database, Redis, Azure Service Bus on Azure Cloud with microservices architecture
2.) Lead development of API-based system-to-system synchronous and asynchronous integrations
3.) Wrap machine learning models created by data scientists as microservices to integrate into NLP pipelines
4.) Partner with the product owner to understand the problem to be solved, explore solutions options, and identify the optimal solution. Collaborate with the product owner to scope and breakdown the solution into meaningful product backlog for development
5.) Oversee the technical design, implementation plans, code, CI/CD automated tests, and documentation
6.) Approve pull requests, perform peer code reviews, and peer testing/QA for product owner acceptance
7.) Lead tier-1/2 engineering support to troubleshoot and resolve critical customer escalations
8.) Collaborate and influence peer architects with knowledge-sharing sessions. Training and mentoring engineers

Bonus Skills:

2.) Willingness to learn modern technologies and understand unfamiliar data domains and new business processes quickly
3.) CI/CD and test automation
4.) Experience in data engineering, ETL, and data analytics
5.) Experience in Node.js, server-side JavaScript, Java, Go, or other back-end languages
6.) Prior experience designing and building NLP APIs and services for unstructured data processing
7.) Introduction to basic NLP/ML/AI concepts for computer vision, image processing, and NLP applications
