Join the Engines Value Stream as a Principal Castings Engineer. Collaborate cross-functionally to oversee and direct new supplier development of Honeywell-designed castings in a variety of alloys and casting technologies. Develop deep knowledge of supplier capabilities and help them to succeed both metallurgically and dimensionally. Interface weekly with several foundries to resolve process, yield, quality, inspection, and casting simulation problems.

Join the Engines Value Stream as a Principal Castings Engineer. Collaborate cross-functionally to oversee and direct new supplier development of Honeywell-designed castings in a variety of alloys and casting technologies. Develop deep knowledge of supplier capabilities and help them to succeed both metallurgically and dimensionally. Interface weekly with several foundries to resolve process, yield, quality, inspection, and casting simulation problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with Honeywell casting suppliers to develop parts, teaming with cross-functional HON team to execute supplier transition projects working with global teams
- Own and deliver technical deliverables related to the castings process and tooling development
- Travel to casting foundries to audit their process and to perform process walks.
- Strong partnership with cross-functions within Integrated Supply Chain
- Process/yield optimization and improvement for both new supplier qualification and incumbent suppliers
- Bachelor s Degree in Engineering or Materials Science
- 12+ years experience in castings development in a broad range of technologies and alloys
- 5+ years experience working on Aerospace castings
- Due to export laws, must be a US citizen, permanent resident, or protected status
- Significant experience with both sand and investment castings
- Significant experience with equiax, directionally solidified, and single crystal technologies
- Significant experience with superalloys, aluminum, titanium, and magnesium

- Global company working experience
- Strong analytical and Microsoft Office skills
- Lead/drive change, and influence/mentor others
- Master s Degree
- Six Sigma or Lean certification
