The Enterprise Renewals Manager is responsible for revenue retention and growth within their assigned account portfolio. This is achieved by successfully negotiating, advising on, and closing renewal and up-sell/cross-sell opportunities on-time and in-line with forecasts. The Enterprise Renewals Manager will identify risk early, develop a renewal strategy, and execute that strategy in concert with Sales and Customer Success. They will also qualify, cultivate, and close expansion opportunities cooperatively with Sales. Successful candidates must possess a competitive sales drive, executive presence, and top-notch cross-functional, analytical, organizational and time-management skills.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the subscription renewal process, including pricing strategy and negotiations, drive long-term agreements, and maintain and grow Neo4j revenue for a portfolio of customers.
  • Develop and nurture relationships within the account portfolio.
  • Convey the value proposition for Neo4j products, support, professional services, and customer success offerings.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success Managers, Customer Success Architects, and Sales Account Executives to develop and execute renewal strategies, improve product adoption, and address churn risk.
  • Actively participate in identifying and developing account growth opportunities.
  • Develop and present customer proposals consistent with the terms of customer and/or partner agreements.
  • Work closely with Finance, Sales Operations, and Legal to ensure all contracts align with Neo4j policies.
  • Provide executive management with accurate and realistic forecasts, provide visibility into account developments, and solicit help in a timely manner, as needed, from across the organization.
  • Consistently and accurately update customer and renewal data in Neo4j systems, such as Salesforce. A focus on attention to detail in every activity and data hygiene is a must for success in this role.
  • Stay up-to-date with Neo4j product capabilities and competitive positioning in the marketplace.
  • Take the initiative to advance team operations by sharing your knowledge, ideas, and demonstrate a willingness to assist on projects important to the team s success.


  • 3 or more years of experience in enterprise renewals, sales (inside or outside), account management, or equivalent quota-carrying, customer facing role in a software company.
  • Proven history of developing and maintaining sales momentum, in addition to achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Comfort and desire in negotiating complex, enterprise ($500k+) license agreements.
  • Ability to close deals with a high degree of integrity and independence, exercising good judgment throughout.
  • Ability to communicate to internal and customer executive leadership up to the c-level.
  • Portuguese fluency a significant plus.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong listening, oral, written and presentation skills.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, complete activities and meet deadlines on a daily basis.
  • Ability to withstand frequent and intense pressure as a result of internal and customer demands, and maintain a positive and professional manner throughout.
  • Salesforce or equivalent CRM experience.
  • Exceptional Google Sheets/Excel skills.
  • Team player who enjoys finding ways to help.
  • High energy level, enthusiastic, self-motivated, tenacious.
  • Proven influencer and negotiator.
  • Ability to travel occasionally (less than 10% of the time).
  • College degree or equivalent business experience
