Compensation Manager - remote

Job Purpose:

The Compensation Specialist works with the Director, Compensation and Benefits - Americas to implement innovative, competitive and analytically driven compensation policies and programs to support the compensation needs of the organization. This position requires both the ability to engage at a senior level as well as to ensure operational excellence. This person is able to solve complex compensation challenges and must foster strong cross-functional relationships. This role will also lead current and future integration activities as well as support all pay equity initiatives across the organization. He, she, they have the combination of technical knowledge, business acumen, and are capable of effecting change in the organization. This is a senior level role without direct reports.

Responsibilities:
  • Act as a compensation business partner, solution provider and advisor to business and people leaders by combining in-depth knowledge of compensation principles, understanding of the business and market landscape, and detailed analysis or modelling
  • Lead and support all current and future integration activities as a result of mergers and acquisitions
  • Maintaining global consistency of job evaluation system (Hay methodology). Reviews and approves submitted evaluations for new and revised pay classifications
  • Supports and contributes in the successful development and implementation of all compensation initiatives, including the international partnering with other TD SYNNEX resources (internal and external) for successful worldwide and regional programs
  • Leads regional compensation projects

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience working in the compensation function of a corporate human resource department.
  • Experience working with job evaluation methodologies - specific experience in Hay Job Evaluation methodology preferred.
  • Experience handling integration / M&A activities from a compensation function perspective will be a plus.
  • Bilingual preferred - English/Spanish


Education & Certifications:
  • Required: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field. In lieu of a Bachelor's Degree, 5 years relevant experience in Compensation.
  • Certification: Working towards or completed CCP certification
  • Must have high proficiency in applied Excel (routine / advanced formulas, pivots, dashboard creation et al.).
  • Ability to perform statistical analysis as it pertains to Pay Equity.
  • Excellent Communication skills.
  • Highly analytical and technology savvy disposition preferred.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks while still delivering high quality results
  • Ability to function as an effective and respected partner to internal clients, including Senior Management
  • Ability to understand the labor market and trends over time
  • Good communication skills, especially with internal clients and key vendors
  • Strong organizational and project administration skills
  • Availability to travel
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills across all levels of the organization


Hiring Base Range:

$100,000 - $130,000

The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on a number of variables including geographic location, work experience, education, and skills/ achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
