Director of Supply Chain - Logistics

What you will do:

• Lead warehouse operations and order fulfillment for retail distributors, eCommerce, and wholesale, including inbound receipt, storage, inventory, outbound shipments, technology, parcel shipping rates, customer care (distributors), and related staffing.
• Identify and execute logistics strategic initiatives, including freight portion of P&L, technology, lane rate optimization, contracts, and relationship building.
• Institute metrics to establish baselines for KPIs to measure the business performance.
• Ensure government compliance as it relates to local, state, and federal laws.
• Own capacity analysis and execution for packaging (eCommerce and wholesale) and finished goods storage at Siete warehouses and 3PLs.
• Work closely with the Senior Director of Supply Chain to ensure warehousing and logistics plans are in alignment with supply chain strategy for meeting the growing business needs.
• Analyze warehouse and delivery opportunities and produce solutions to ensure continuous improvement for all areas.
• Develop annual and long-term plans, including vision, goals, and objectives related to fulfillment and logistics.
• Foster a culture of celebrating wins while striving for growth and excellence in delivering customer delight.
• Strategize methods for efficiencies and cost savings, including, but not limited to automation and process improvements.
• Define strategic initiatives related to Managed Transportation partners, oversee the implementation, and measure success.

Your experience:

• 8+ years of related experience
• 5+ years people management experience
• Food CPG experience strongly preferred
• Experience with a warehouse management system or other business operations system such as Fishbowl, SAP, NetSuite, or Oracle is a must. Experience with transportation management systems and dock scheduling software is a plus.
• Deep understanding of warehouse safety and OSHA laws; 30-hour OSHA Certification is a plus.
