Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a Jr. or Sr. Level Electrical Engineer who will be a key player in designing and developing computer hardware for our products. The successful candidate will work closely with the Research and Development (R&D), Production, and Customer Service teams. We encourage qualified and enthusiastic individuals who are interested in a fast-paced and family-like environment and are capable of handling multiple tasks to join our team of excellence!


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Design and develop sensor and control boards for research and production.
  • Design circuit boards with Microcontrollers, Sensors, Power Devices (LDO, Switchers), OP Amps, ADC/DAC, and Filters
  • Build, test, and modify prototypes and products
  • Manage and Outsource PCB layout, fabrication, and assembly.
  • Conduct EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility), and safety testing.
  • Support the production team and customer support team
  • Build test circuits and programs to facilitate sensor, and system calibration and production
  • Troubleshoot production and field issues


Requirements and Qualifications

-Must Have

  • Possess Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Minimum 2 years of demonstrated experience at the Jr. Level; a Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience at the Sr. Level.
  • Possess digital circuit board design skills with microcontrollers, sensors, actuators, and LDO/DC-DC converters.
  • Possess Firmware and Software programming skills using C | C++ | Python | and LabView.
  • Possess the required skills to use OrCAD | Altium Designer, IDE (MPLAB, Eclipse), soldering irons, Oscilloscope, and logic analyzer.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Be a flexible team player with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Be adaptable in a high-growth environment and willing to do all it takes to deliver on time.

-Nice-to-Have

  • Work experience in the laboratory or medical instrument industry.
  • Demonstrated, hands-on experience and expertise in Data Acquisition, Data processing, PID control for temperature control or motor/actuator control, and various hardware interfaces (USD, RS232, I2C, SPI, CAN, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth).
  • Able to conduct development with strong analytical problem-solving abilities.
