Apple is looking for a world-class Design Engineer with analog circuit design, experience to join the Advanced Display Engineering team. This position requires a highly motivated and creative individual with a strong technical background in relevant technical fields including analog, ASIC design, circuit simulation, or display backplane. Display and/or semiconductor processing knowledge are a plus. A successful candidate will execute design projects independently from design to port-typing and finally test.
Key Qualifications
- 5+ years hands-on detailed experience with analog circuits, display backplanes, display IC, or similar
- Strong direct experience with circuit simulation tools (Cadence, Virtuoso, VerilogA, etc)
- Strong hands-on experience in electronic lab measurement setup (using Python, LabView, or similar)
- Knowledge of device physics and integration
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to operate in highly cross functional environment and to drive work
- Good data analysis skills
Description
Propose new designs and architecture to enable next generation displays working with silicon design, display EE, display backplane and other cross functional teams. Develop electronic / optoelectronic platforms to measure and characterize various devices and circuits; develop circuit models for simulation Develop and translate ideas into Hardware designs that can be manufacturable by collaborating with internal and external teams. Work with cross-functional teams throughout the development cycle and solve complex problems.
Education & Experience
M.S. or Ph.D. (or equivalent experience) in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent
