We are looking for a Solution Engineer that can hit the ground running and guide our sales cycles with presentations, strategy, and demonstrations to our customers. You will be tasked with ensuring our presented solutions are in-line with the customer's business strategy goals and their requirements. You need to have strong presentations skills and an ability to guide the customer to the correct Oro solution by listening and understanding their goals.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Learning and understanding Oro's product line, solutions, and value propositions
  • Work with the Oro team and our customers to develop high value solutions
  • Own the entire product demonstration process to ensure the solution meets the customer's requirements and business goals
  • Understand all competitive solutions and share Oro's differentiators with the customer
  • Ensure potential project issues and risk points do not derail the sales cycle
  • Work with our Service team when transitioning a customer from sales to development
What You Need for this Position
  • Experience in B2B solutions (preferably manufacturing or distribution)
  • Strong history of pre-sales engineering
  • Ability to go through high-level estimation of implementation costs for customers
  • Ability to point out possible complexities to implementation partners
  • Success with eCommerce and/or CMS (Back-Office and Front-End)
  • Proven ability to expertly use PowerPoint, or any similar presentation software
  • Sales experience is preferred
  • Coding skills in Symfony, PHP, CSS is a plus
  • Linux experience is a plus
