This Desktop Support Analyst role is long-term contract / temporary to hire in nature and is located in the Cambridge, Massachusetts, area.
Responsibilities
- Meet regularly and effectively with ticket submitters
- Organize hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors
- Solve computer problems, and implement appropriate action/solutions
- Administer computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Retain, investigate, and restore computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals
- Curate records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities
- Give support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems
Requirements
- Desktop support or related experience
- Ability to quickly write reports, business correspondence, user instructions, and procedure manuals
- Solid understanding of Active Directory
- Microsoft Office 365 experience required
- Mac OS experience
- Proficiency in iMac
