Part-time or Full-time position with a weekday schedule at an established outpatient physical rehabilitation clinic. In Everett and / or Puyallup, WA.

JOB SUMMARY:
Perform diagnostic cognitive evaluations to develop an individualized plan of care for patients with post-concussive syndrome or mild traumatic brain injuries. Help the patient set therapeutic goals with memory training, the use of external memory cues, communication, attention, concentration and organizational aids to improve function.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs initial evaluation and treatment of patients with cognitive impairment
- Determine the nature and extent of the patient’s impairment
- Develops treatment plan
- Communicates to physician’s patient’s needs and progress as applicable.
- Advise/Consults with medical providers regarding patient evaluation and treatment, and progress of the patient
- Completes comprehensive evaluations
- Reviews patients records for diagnosis and medical history
- Maintains and submits evaluation, treatment and billing documentation
KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE:
- Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques
- Minimum of 2 years work as a Speech Language Pathologist in medical or rehabilitation settings
QUALIFICATIONS:
- EDUCATION: Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from a college or university with accredited Speech Language Pathology program..Current Washington State license in Speech-Language Pathology
- SPECIAL SKILLS: Ability to work with a wide variety of people and ability to track and organize multiple tasks.
- Bilingual, Spanish-speaking is preferred
